Efficacy
This medicine is used for fever and pain caused by a cold, headache, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, pain from sprains, toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain.
Dosage
Adults and children aged 12 years and older should take 1 to 2 tablets per dose, 3 to 4 times daily (every 4 to 6 hours) as needed. Take this medicine at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.
Precautions
If you regularly consume three or more alcoholic drinks every day, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine or other antipyretics/analgesics. It may cause liver damage. Very rarely, serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), which can be fatal, have been reported. If skin rash or other signs of hypersensitivity occur after taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen (4,000 mg). It may cause liver damage. Do not take with other products containing acetaminophen.
Do not take this medicine if you have hypersensitivity to this drug, peptic ulcer, severe blood disorders, severe liver impairment, severe kidney impairment, severe heart failure, a history of asthma caused by aspirin or other anti-inflammatory analgesics, or if you have taken barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol. Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have liver impairment, kidney impairment, peptic ulcer, blood disorders, bleeding tendency, heart dysfunction, a history of hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma, or if you are elderly, pregnant, or breastfeeding. Do not take for more than 10 days (adults) or 5 days (children) for pain, or more than 3 days for fever, without the instructions of a doctor or pharmacist.
