Efficacy
This medicine is used for acne vulgaris (common acne).
Dosage
Before applying this medicine, wash the affected area with clean water or a mild cleanser and dry it. Unless otherwise directed by a doctor or pharmacist, apply a sufficient amount to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening) and rub it in well. The treatment period varies depending on the individual or the severity of the acne, but generally, a noticeable therapeutic effect appears after about 4 weeks. For optimal results, use it regularly and consistently for several months. If skin irritation is severe, reduce the frequency of use to once daily until the irritation subsides, or consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug should not use it. Before using this drug, pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 12 years of age, and patients with hypersensitivity or a history of hypersensitivity to propylene glycol should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Use consistently without skipping during the treatment period. Do not use occlusive dressings or wrappings. This drug is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. If it gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Be sure to wash your hands with water after applying the medicine.
