Efficacy
This medicine is used to relieve various cold symptoms (runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills (symptoms of feeling cold and shivering), fever, headache, joint pain, muscle pain).
Dosage
For individuals aged 15 years or older, take 15 mL once. For individuals aged 11 years or older but under 15 years, take 10 mL once. For individuals aged 7 years or older but under 11 years, take 7.5 mL once. For individuals aged 3 years or older but under 7 years, take 5 mL once. For individuals aged 2 years or older but under 3 years, take 3.8 mL once. Take 3 to 4 times a day, after each meal. If necessary, take at bedtime, and generally, the dosing interval should be at least 4 hours.
Precautions
Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you regularly consume three or more alcoholic drinks daily and are taking this medicine or other antipyretic analgesics. It may cause liver damage.Very rarely, severe skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and toxic epidermal necrolysis, which can be fatal, have been reported. If skin rash or other signs of hypersensitivity reaction appear after taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately.Do not exceed the maximum daily dose (4,000 mg) of acetaminophen. It may cause liver damage. Do not take with other products containing acetaminophen.
Do not take this medicine if you have hypersensitivity to it or have experienced it before, have experienced asthma when taking other antipyretic analgesics or cold medicines, are an infant under 3 months of age, or are currently taking MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinsonian drugs, etc.) or have stopped taking them within the last 2 weeks.Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you are an infant or child under 15 years of age who has or is suspected of having chickenpox or influenza; an infant aged 3 months or older but under 2 years; an infant or toddler; have an allergic predisposition; have experienced allergic symptoms (e.g., fever, rash, joint pain, asthma, itching, etc.); have liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, gastroduodenal ulcer, glaucoma (e.g., eye pain, blurred vision, etc.), difficulty urinating; are elderly, frail, or have a high fever; have persistent or recurrent gastrointestinal problems such as heartburn, stomach discomfort, stomach pain, or have ulcer or bleeding problems; are pregnant or possibly pregnant; are breastfeeding; smoke; have asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cough accompanied by excessive phlegm, cough lasting or recurring for more than 1 week, chronic cough, or cough accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache; or have hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 5.Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration.When administering to children, do so under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.Drowsiness may occur after taking this medicine, so be careful when driving or operating machinery.
