Efficacy
This medicine is used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, such as muscle pain, neuralgia, post-traumatic and post-operative pain, headache, toothache, and earache.
Dosage
Adults take 1 to 2 tablets (125–250 mg) per dose, 3 times a day.
Precautions
Do not take this medicine if you have peptic ulcers, drug-induced gastrointestinal or duodenal disturbances, hypersensitivity to this medicine, a history of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including COX-2 inhibitors), or if you are being treated for pain before or after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. It is also contraindicated for pregnant women or women who may be pregnant, and patients with severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, severe heart failure, or inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have a history of peptic ulcers, are a child or elderly, or have hypertension, fluid retention, heart failure, bronchial asthma, or hepatic/renal impairment (including history).
