Precautions

Regular drinkers who consume three or more glasses daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking this medicine or other antipyretics and analgesics. It may cause liver damage. Very rarely, serious skin reactions such as Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), which can be fatal, have been reported. If a skin rash or other signs of hypersensitivity occur after taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen (4,000 mg). It may cause liver damage. Do not take it with other products containing acetaminophen. If severe skin adverse reactions such as Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis occur, stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Do not take this medicine if you are hypersensitive to it or have a history of hypersensitivity, have experienced asthma when taking other antipyretics, analgesics, or cold medicines, are an infant under 3 months of age, or have severe or uncontrolled hypertension. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are: a child under 2 years of age; an infant or child under 15 years of age who has or is suspected of having chickenpox or influenza; experiencing symptoms of ischemic colitis (such as sudden abdominal pain or rectal bleeding) related to pseudoephedrine; predisposed to allergies or have experienced allergic reactions (fever, rash, joint pain, asthma, itching, etc.); suffering from liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, or gastroduodenal ulcers; elderly, physically weak, or have a high fever; experiencing persistent or recurring gastrointestinal problems such as heartburn, stomach discomfort, or stomach pain, or have ulcers or bleeding issues; pregnant or possibly pregnant; breastfeeding; or suffering from a cough (caused by smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or accompanied by excessive phlegm, a cough lasting or recurring for more than a week, chronic cough, or a cough accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache). If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
