Precautions

If you are a regular drinker who consumes three or more drinks daily, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine or other antipyretics and analgesics. It may cause liver damage. Serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), which can be fatal, have been reported very rarely. If skin rash or other signs of hypersensitivity occur after taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen (4,000 mg). It may cause liver damage. Do not take this medicine with other products containing acetaminophen.

Do not take this medicine if you have hypersensitivity to this drug, peptic ulcer, severe blood disorders, liver impairment, renal (kidney) impairment, heart failure, aspirin-induced asthma (asthma attacks triggered by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs [NSAIDs]) or a history thereof, if you have taken barbiturates or tricyclic antidepressants, if you have consumed alcohol, or if you are a child under 12 years of age. Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have a history of hypersensitivity, liver impairment, renal (kidney) impairment, peptic ulcer, blood disorders or a history thereof, bleeding tendencies, heart dysfunction, bronchial asthma, if you are elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have low glutathione levels. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
